FOR SALE — 2006 Lagoon 440 Owner’s Version | Full Custom Refit 2026
Lightweight Composite Interior • Structural Reinforcement • Sugar Scoop Extensions • Blue-Water Ready
This 2006 Lagoon 440 Owner’s Version has undergone an extensive full custom refit completed in 2026 by MVI Boat Composites.
The Closest Thing to Buying a New Lagoon 440 from the Factory
Fully rebuilt and modernized in 2026 with a brand-new lightweight composite interior, new electrical and plumbing systems, and new appliances throughout. The next owner will be the first to sleep in the new beds, relax on the new sofas, and use the new interior and appliances — almost everything you see, touch, and use onboard is brand new and unused.
What Makes This Lagoon 440 Different
Lightweight Composite Interior
The original heavy factory furniture and plywood structures were removed and replaced with custom lightweight composite and honeycomb construction.
The new interior is bonded and glassed into the hull structure, reducing unnecessary weight while creating a stronger, stiffer, and quieter boat. Finished with real teak veneer for a warm, high-end appearance without the weight of traditional plywood construction.
Structural Reinforcement — Vacuum Process
Key structural areas were professionally reinforced using epoxy, marine composites, and vacuum processes:
Main bulkhead reinforcement from port to starboard
Upgraded structural tabbing
Reinforcement of key Lagoon structural areas
The result is a stronger and stiffer Lagoon 440, upgraded for serious offshore and blue-water cruising.
Custom Sugar Scoop Extensions
The sterns were professionally extended and structurally integrated into the original hulls, increasing the overall length to approximately 46 ft.
The extensions provide a longer waterline for improved performance, additional flotation, and easier access to the water and dinghy. Finished with original-style molded non-skid for a clean, factory appearance.
